After sending out a last ditch APB on my missing Garmin last night, I received an unexpected guest knocking on my door this evening. Turns out that life on the lam was apparently not all it was cracked up to be for a certain lost GPS watch. That, or maybe it caught wind of the fact that I had been secretly shopping for its replacement. Whatever the case, I welcomed it back with open arms, and look forward to returning him to action immediately. He’s got a lot of lost time and miles to make up for. Welcome home Garmin, glad you’re back!
45 minutes in the pool this afternoon, started out easy, did several sets of drills, then finished up with about 10 minutes of turnover. Felt good, but didn’t need to do anything too ambitious. With the Drake Relays 800m race on Friday afternoon, this becomes a pretty short week. Tomorrow will be even easier – I don’t know exactly when I am going to head out to Iowa, but whenever it is I’m going to be rested when the time comes to get it on.
